Free Calculator Programs from Saltire Scientific

In order to transfer these programs from your PC to your calculator, you will need the following:

1. The FA-123 software from Casio.    Available for free download from Casio.  A manual is also available at this link
   
   
2. The SB-155 cable.   This is needed to connect your calculator to your computer.
   


3. Instructions to use the software.   View them here.   (Casio's full manual is available from the link under item #1.)

Programs for use with the Collecting Real World Data book

These programs contain all necessary programs to run all the experiments in our Collecting Real World Data with Casio Data Analyzers.  You can also view a sample experiment.

Fx7400.cat – Use with the fx7400 series of calculators
Fx9850.cat – Use with the fx-9750 or CFX-9850 calculator series
FX1.cat – For use with FX 1.0 or FX 2.0 calculator

Example program for use with the Saltire Scientific pH probe

These files contain an example program designed to measure the pH decrease when CO₂ is exhaled into a container of water.   You can also view the experiment write-up.
